Hiking is usually associated with summer. When you want to escape the hot temperatures in the valley and be regaled by a fresh breeze. But in Appiano on the South Tyrolean Wine Route, the hiking season is all year round. In spring, everything begins with a walk through the spring valley. In summer, it’s off up into the surrounding mountain peaks and summits. In autumn, through the golden shimmering vineyards and in winter, through the festively decorated streets of the higher lying villages.
