Bolzano is only a few minutes' drive from Appiano and nestles between the mystical Dolomites and the picturesque vineyards. A stroll through the historic old town with its beautiful arcades is a particularly popular pastime for both visitors and locals. But the state capital has much more to offer. In the Museum of Archaeology, for example, visitors can marvel at Ötzi, the “man from the ice”. Or take one of the three cable cars and hover above the high plateaus to enjoy the view. Or attend a trade fair. There’s something for everyone!
